Tarps & Netting

Produktionshalle TrevisionNetting is used wherever light permeability is a necessity, for instance on building facades.

Weight is an important factor with regardto very large formats.

Special netting designs have a particularly close-knit and dense mesh for the best image reproduction and, on the rear side, facadenettingprinted black or grey for better transparency from the rear.

Tarps

Tarps are also available in various designs for different purposes.

Tarp types:

  • Produktionshalle TrevisionReflecting tarps (e.g. B1) for building designs requiring a high degree of stability.
  • Transmitted light tarps for large-format light boxes available in designs for short-term and long-term use.

Special designs:

  • Tarps with a black reverse side (blackback) to prevent light shining through.
  • Multi-layer tarps with an opaque middle section (blockout), printable on both sides.
  • PVC-free polyester tarps for small to medium formats. This tarp is also opaque and is easy to transport and store thanks to its low weight.
  • Airtex tarps with a coated surface and a light textile character.
  • Truck tarps in two standard thicknesses.

The UV inks from Durst used for these applications can be treated with a UV coating to increase resistance and protect from mechanical damage.

Film & Paper

Adhesive films for short, medium and long term applications

  • 3M films IJ25, IJ40 and IJ70. These films are available with removable or permanent adhesives
  • Protective films in matt or gloss finishes
  • Adhesive films for special applications

  • Transparent films for transparent applications, vehicle advertising, shop window applications with punched films (window graphic)
  • Abrasion-resistant films for floor advertising
  • Adhesive films for direct applications on walls
  • Reusable adhesive films that stick to smooth surfaces
  • Magnetic films and hard PVC films for advertising on trivision billboards
  • Paper

  • Blueback paper for billboard advertising
  • Citylight paper for transmitted light applications
  • Photobase paper for high-quality images, for instance for exhibitions
  • Wallpaper with and without structures
This list is not exhaustive and is continuously updated with new materials. The best way is for you to email or tell us what your requirements are and we will offer you the best solutions.

Textiles

General differentiation is made between UV and sublimation printing.

Differences between UV and sublimation printing:

UV printing

  • 100 % solvent-free inks
  • Cured using UV light
  • Very homogeneous and dense ink application
  • Matt print, therefore ideal for avoiding the reflection of ambient light
  • Well-suited for architecture, shop and trade show purposes, TV studios and transmitted light applications
  • Sublimation printing

  • Textile inks cured by heat (vaporisation)
  • The material keeps its properties; shiny printing is possible (e.g. satin)
  • Elaborate and time-consuming printing method The choice of materials is virtually unlimited for any area of application.
  • Materials used

  • Decorative materials for shop and trade show, both with and without backlighting
  • Opaque materials that prevent light from shining through
  • Acoustic materials that reduce the noise level in the room
  • Non-flammable glass fabric with A2 certification; for special applications in airports, theatres, etc.
  • Floor and wall coverings made of vinyl for long-term applications in a scratch-proof design
  • Carpeting
  • The same applies for this material group: tell us what you want and we will provide the best solution.

    Board printing

We make exclusive use of UV inks optimised for printing on rigid surfaces.

    Advantages:

  • Outstanding adhesion
  • High resistance to mechanical damage
  • Very good results with transmitted light
  • Touch-free printing
  • Suitable for printing sensitive materials (e.g. display and packaging cartons with fine fluting) in high quality by holding boards in place with a vacuum
  • Printing on very large formats is possible by using a special device to hold boards in position
  • Materials used

  • Different types of board (for reflected light)
  • Hard and soft foam boards such as Kapa® and Forex®
  • Aluminium composite board
  • Hollow-chamber multi-wall sheets for cost-effective, short-term outdoor applications In addition to these boards that we print in large quantities there are also numerous other customer requirements, for instance:

  • Direct printing on wood boards for the furniture industry (e.g. Children's furniture and simple wood flooring take on the appearance of mahogany, rosewood, etc.)
  • Printing on tiles prior to firing enables a comprehensive customisation of wet-rooms, etc. Printing on dark and black boards is also possible as the colour white can be pre-printed for any print application.
  • Printing on glass for transmitted light applications; tough polycarbonate and acrylic glass for a wide range of possible uses. The ability to pre-print or post-print the colour white means that any image is possible. Printing behind glass with post-printing in white, for instance, produces an unsurpassable quality whilst protecting the printed image from the front.
  • In comparison to the conventional method of printing on film that is then laminated and covered by another protective film, printing on the back of glass not only produces a better quality result but it is also cheaper as the method requires fewer steps in the work process.
