Cranpool Center in Vienna-Vösendorf wakes your appetite for wellness

The first rays of sun are here again and with them comes the dream of owning your own pool. To enable customers get a better picture of the company and its long-standing tradition in Germany and Austria, Cranpool appointed Trevision Groß.Bild.Technik to create the perfect corporate design at the new site in Vienna-Vösendorf. Working closely with Cranpool managing director Mag. Wolfgang Grabner, Trevision's sales manager (east), Andreas Kacal, and graphic artist Georg Herold-Wildfellner designed the Cranpool Wellness and Fun Pool at the company's new site.

It took just three weeks of close coordination for GBMT's experts to install large-format clamping frame systems with high-resolution printing and acrylic glass panels alongside a super-sized flat aluminium sign and illuminated LED lettering. The choice fell on the Slimframe system with flat welt clamping systems to ensure the end effect is as attractive as it is practical. Acrylic glass panels with spacers now adorn Cranpool's premises in Vienna-Vösendorf.

The perfect teamwork between Trevision and GBMT during the Cranpool project shows that the companies of the Trevision Holding Group have been streamlined as part of an optimisation process, enabling them to work together on projects large and small and develop intelligent, future-oriented solutions to customer demands.

"Fast and intelligent implementation by the professionals from Trevision and GBMT turned my ideas for the design of the site into reality and put the Cranpool logos firmly in the customer view", says a delighted Mag. Wolfgang Grabner, managing director of the Cranpool Center in Vienna-Vösendorf.

Trevision provides its business partners with intelligent products and high-quality, precision-engineered solutions. Having successfully completed a strict qualification process, Trevision is one of just a few Austrian companies to have gained 3M-certification. Prerequisites included a multi-day employee training course, a (successfully passed) practical examination, proof of a comprehensive management system and adequate production areas and equipment (dust-free hall for vehicles up to the size of buses, lifting platform, warehousing for efficient foil management, adhesives and activators). Gaining certification was no problem for Trevision in spite of high demands on know-how and employees, especially as the company can count on an innovative production facility and highly qualified staff.

The clubhouse at the road safety and motor technology centre "Driving Camp Hungary" in Zsámbék is visually and technologically unique. As a member of the project team, Trevision Groß. Bild. Technik made an important contribution to the modern design of the premium driving camp in the form of an innovative luminous ceiling for the members' clubhouse. A perfect combination of light, form and colour was custom-built to impress the guests at "Driving Camp Hungary". Soft, homogeneous light now creates a modern atmosphere.

More than 20 years of experience in automotive technology and safety were channelled into the project and have resulted in a comprehensive set of training modules based on modern technology.

Naked "Mr. Big" polarises the Leopold Museum

Shopdesign Shopdesign

Mr. Big is a multi-layered, oversized nude by artist Ilse Haider and implemented by Trevision Groß. Bild. Technik. Its purpose is to attract attention to the exhibition named "naked men" at the Leopold Museum. The accessible sculpture by the artist from Salzburg is a real eye-catcher whose sheer size attracts not only female attention.

Behind this particularly striking form of visual communication, which is namely the specialist field of implementing company Trevision Groß. Bild. Technik. based in Grosshöflein, lies Ilse Haider's intention to criticise concepts of masculinity. In the artist's opinion the sculpture "expresses the ambivalence of masculinity as a cultural construct: the embodiment of the over-dimensional and desirable, yet also of aloofness and egocentricity.

The Leopold Museum wants to encourage beholders of the statue to develop their own viewpoint. Tobias Natter, director of the Leopold Museum, says: "The personal viewpoint that beholders have to develop to gain the best view of the three-dimensional sculpture emphasises the premise that "beauty lies in the eye of the beholder". The "naked men" exhibition comprises 300 works of art submitted by around 100 artists from Europe and the USA and spans a period of some 200 years, with a particular emphasis on works from the age of enlightenment around 1800, the innovative trends of the modern period and positions in art after 1945.

"MR. BIG" - that is the name of the sculpture by Ilse Haider- was doubtlessly a perfect marketing tool and created an opportunity to experience the exhibition at the Leopold Museums on various levels. Jürgen Marzi, sales manager at Trevision Groß. Bild. Technik. sees it as an unusual form of visual communication: "Mr. Big allowed us to make use of our core competence, namely visual communication, in a way that makes it not only visible but also physically accessible. Together with artist Ilse Haider we were able to implement a new dimension of advertising."

The talented photo artist gained her degree in 1988 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where she studied under Arnulf Rainer, and went on to study under Eduardo Paolozzi at the Royal College of Art until 1990. Between 1995 and 2001 she lectured at Linz University of Artistic and Industrial Design. She was awarded the Grand Art Prize of the City of Vienna in 2003.

Her photographs are characterised by their three-dimensional effect achieved through the use of innovative methods and traditional photo technology. From a contextual viewpoint she places a significant value on the presentation of topic of "Woman and Man" – hence her particular suitability for the exhibition at the Leopold Museum. The effect behind her collage-like works is founded in the interplay between different image levels. Haider received the Bürgerpreis, a citizen's award, together with Anish Kapoor in 1995; in 2011 she received the Otto Breicha Award for photographic art.
